Bridesmaids

Proceed with caution

Aly&Jess @ Camping

Jessica Carrier, Maid of Honor

Jess and I met during our reign at Whitworth College, and it's been a crazy adventure ever since! Over the last 10+ years, we've had more antics than two people should be allowed - poker tournaments (we are very adept at Texas Hold Em), Fizzie's (Spokane's best dive bar), Europe adventures, and whale watching in the San Juans.

I'm so honored to have my HLP, Jess, standing by my side - she's among the best people I have ever had the honor of knowing.

As our resident ER nurse, she's on hand to take care of any and all medical emergencies... the more embarrassing, the better!

Vanessa Gehl, Bridesmaid

Vanessa and I met when she moved to Seattle, and she is a gem. You'll probably hear her before you see her, but I promise - it's one of her charms!

So much could be said about Vanessa, but most of it is appropriate for public distribution. She gives great advice (when angry, cut out the armpits of the other person's shirt), has been voted "most likely to help you dispose of a dead body," always has a bottle of wine or booze on hand, and I wouldn't change a thing about her.

Nothing is ever dull (or quiet!) with Ness around, and she lights up a room unlike any other. I'm so excited to have her with us this weekend.

Alissa Stock, Bridesmaid

Alissa is the sister-in-law extraordinaire! If you haven't been lucky enough to meet her, you are in for a treat!

Alissa came into our lives via Kevin (her hubbie, our officiant!), and I met her (and most every other Stock) at their rehearsal dinner (no pressure, right?!). After spending some time crashing their honeymoon (thanks, again!), I found a kindred spirit in Alissa.  She is someone who radiates love, joy, and a snark that is unparalleled.

Thanks for making me always feel like a member of the Stock clan. I'm so excited to have you for a sister!

Groomsmen

don't believe a word they say

Lloyd @ Brewery

Josh Dahmen, Best Man

I first met Josh when we were interns at KPMG in 2006.  After being locked in the Costco audit room together for 14 hours a day, it's no wonder after he introduced "Journey" Hour, we quickly became best friends.  Turns out Josh also met his wife, Karen, in the Costco audit room, so maybe not t0o ironic that he now works for Costco as their International Accounting Manager.

Whether it's at a Seahawks game, on the golf course, at a craps table, or just hanging out at home with Karen and Luke (their ridiculously cute son you'll meet in August), we always manage to find ourselves a great time.  Thanks for standing by my side this and everyday!

Jason Robinson, aka JD, Groomsman

Jason, better known as JD, Jrob, or Aly's "assistant," first met Aly at Farmers Life.  From the beginning, it was easy to see why they were such great friends.  And fortunately slash selfishly for me, JD has been one of the biggest upsides of dating Aly.

After a successful career at Farmers, he now works in sales for Georgetown Brewing Company, and will be the one to thank for driving down the darn tasty beer you will be enjoying at the wedding.

From their (and our) travels to Oktoberfest and throughout Europe, to family dinners at the Robinson's house, to just grabbing a beer at the bar around the corner, JD is one of our best friends and I couldn't be more excited to have him standing with us when we tie the knot.

Geoff Tucker, Groomsman

After this wedding weekend, it may be a good to know a lawyer - even better for that lawyer to be in the family.  No worries, I've had this guy on a dollar retainer for years! Geoff is Aly's younger brother, esquire, and currently working in Virginia as a public defender.

Voted most likely to steal Madden, he's always on a close watch.   He is a great guy, an even better smart ass, and as fellow connoisseur of tasty whiskey and IPA's, it's no wonder we get along.  Don't tell Kevmo, but I couldn't be happier to officially call you my brother!

Wedding Officiant, Ring Bearer, & Flower Girl

the best brother / future brother-in-law, and the cutest nephew & niece we could have ever asked for

Kevin Stock, Wedding Officiant

I first met Kevin 32 years ago.  Pretty sure he didn't have that goatee but fairly confident the curly red hair was in full force.  As my older brother and one of my best friends, he's taught me many valuable lessons in life.  Notably, like knowing when to stop rubbing the guy's head sitting in front of you at a Seahawks game (long story).  Or, most importantly, when you know you've met the one, and never let her get away.

While a little worried what he may say (or wear) during the ceremony, we honestly couldn't be more excited that Kevmo will be the one officiating our wedding.  No pressure.

Lincoln Stock, Ring Bearer

Lincoln has been one of the greatest treasures and additions to our lives.  It took a little training, but we quickly developed into his favorite auntie and uncle.  We can't believe it's already been 3 years, but he is truly growing up to be our favorite smart and charming little man.  He is the one of the few I would ever trust with our wedding ring.

Iris Stock, Flower Girl

While lightening doesn't always strike twice, it did when Iris came into our lives.  We are so blessed to have the sweetest and most adorable niece in the world.  It has been an absolute joy being a part of Iris' first years.  Don't tell the bride, but we wish you all the best of luck trying not to tear up when this cutie starts to walk down the aisle.
